We are looking forward to welcoming you to our National Minicamp at the Hawequas. The Hike programme kicks off on Monday 4 October @ 8h00. You are more than welcome to book from Saturday 2 October to allow settling in. These extra days must be booked on Quicket beforehand or SnapScan at the camp:

A few arrangements and info for campers:

We will endeavour to be COVID compliant and urge you to bring masks/buffs, use hand sanitisers provided & respect social distance.
All campers must be self-sufficient, but may make use of crockery, cutlery, fridges, freezer and gas cookers in kitchens.
The dorms have beds with mattresses. But you must bring your own sleeping bags/bedding/towels. Hot water showers and flushing toilets are available. There are tables and chairs in the “Barn” but not in the campsite.
We will braai every evening with fires lit at about 17h00, and briefing and report backs at about 17h30 at the “Barn”.
Hikes will be discussed at the briefing each evening, so please join us for the briefing and confirm details with the hike leader.
The overnighting at the Kromriverhut and Adirondack Shelter can be arranged from Monday until Friday with Riaan Doorduin: 0820990521 or in person at the camp.
The final evening(Saturday 9th) will be the Annual Dinner, if you have paid for this option. Booking for this will be open until Sat 3 October on Quicket.
