Grotto, Fountain Cairn Traverse 3C

Grotto, Fountain Cairn and Arrow Right Face Traverse
Start early at Kloof corner car park . Expected time of return 3-4pm.
Route: Pipe track to Blinkwater ravine. Proceed along Grotto ravine path that includes two B grade scrambles until reach Grotto-Fountain-Cairn traverse ledge. Ascend on to ledge.
Walk along a narrowing ledge at places – where there is exposure. On reaching the upper Fountain ledge at Kloof Corner Ridge, options will be offered – including Arrow Face-Right Face traverse ledge, or Cable Car.
General:
To enjoy you need to be comfortable with exposure. There are great views of some of the main rock faces of Table mountain. We will have a short rope with us.
Please have at lease 2 litres of water pp and usual lunch and snacks, etc.
