CANCELLED – Slanghoek Piek (3B)

We will make an early start from the Kromrivier mcsa parking; turning LEFT (North) towards Junction Pool (before the final decent to the hut). At the Witte River we turn RIGHT (EAST) towards Springstygbeugel where we will start climbing towards the Slanghoek Amphitheatre. From the Amphitheatre we will slowly contour and climb towards Slanghoek Peak (1695m). We will return via a circular route back towards the hut. Its a long (about 30 km, 8-9 hours) day and quite a bit of climbing(1500m), but you will be rewarded with 360 views that seem to go on forever.
