Olive Glen Camping weekend

We have arranged to spend ‘n weekend camping and “kuiering” at the Olive Glen mountain farm outside of Paarl.
Olive Glen has multiple weekend camp sites with shared kitchens/lapas, perfect for hikers, nature lovers, and conservation minded people. There is a network of hiking trails and other activities available, a nice weekend for those who can’t make the MCSA national camp.
The camp sites are suitable for tents and 4 x 4 trailers.
There is no electricity at the camp sites, but there is at the farm shed with electricity. All camp sites are available for this weekend.
It is best that people bring all the needed camping equipment and supplies. Remember to bring torches / lamps, the solar lighting runs out at night during the winter.
At the main camp site Olive Glen will supply, as extras, a gas ring and kettle, some braai grids, and “kuier” and braai wood for the weekend . Bring everything else.
Costs:
MCSA Paarl/Wellington members – R 75 per person per night
Other MCSA members and non-members – R150 per person per night
