Montegu is known for a variety of easy/difficult hiking trails as well as a vast number of climbing routes and Mountain biking. Esme will lead a difficult hike to Bloupunt; Elsie will lead a moderate hike into Keurkloof but there are also a number of well-marked (moderate and easy) trails to choose from. Rock climbers can be independent or book with a guide if you are a beginner. We recommend accommodation at De Bos Backpackers: https://www.debos.co.za/rock-climbing-montagu/. Here you can choose from camping, dorms or your own cottage. We have reserved a small campsite for MCSA PW but you can also book your own private campsite/dorm or chalet. It is a long weekend and a popular spot, do not delay too long.
