Constantia Corner (B)
17 March @ 7:30 am - 3:00 pm
A very easy and relatively short B-grade scramble above Constantia Nek, which offers great views over Constantia Valley, Cape Flats, Constantiaberg and Hout Bay. The route starts at the car park at Constantia Nek and we climb up to Eagles Nest. From there we traverse a short way to the West and then head up a rocky gully. The path follows the ridge and presents stunning view over both sides, until we get to the Camel Rock, where the path flattens out and descends down to the De Villiers dam (2.5hrs) From there we’ll cross over the dam and head North-West towards Cavemans Overhang and Hole in the wall, before joining the Jeep Track back to Constantia Nek by mid-afternoon.
